Zipping up a project
Creating a zip file of your project is useful for:
- Back - ups of your project
- Moving your project to another computer
- Emailing a copy of your project to a colleague
Zip files compress the data so it is a smaller file for moving or sending. In order to view the data in a zip file the file needs to be unzipped and extracted.
The most widely used program for zipping up and unzipping files is WinZip:
