Guide to N4 Classic

N4 was the last version of Nud.ist that was released on both Windows and Macintosh. QSR released it as a cheap, classic version of Nud.ist suitable for student use. It shares just about all the functionality of N6 but with a much less friendly interface.

Using NUD.IST v. 6 (N6)

NUD.IST was one of the first CAQDAS programs to be developed in the late 1980s. Version 6 was released in 2002 and although it is no longer sold by QSR it is still supported by the company. NUD.IST v 6 projects can be migrated to QSR's latest program, NVivo 8. The guides to its use are preserved here for those still using the program.
