In this video Karl explains how he collected the data for his discourse analysis. He discusses the collection of field notes and of writing these up as soon as he could. He also transcribed the interviews he recorded too. He discusses some of the issues that determined his sample, its size and the limited degree to which he had choice over who to interview.
